HERE AT CENTRAL FAITH CHURCH, COMMUNITY LIFE CONSISTS OF TWO MAIN THINGS: COMMUNITY GROUPS AND MINISTRY GROUPS
Whether they be small groups, ministry groups, service teams, etc., we believe that participating in community groups plays an important role in building community within the church. It is where people from all walks of life come together for Christ-centered fellowship, prayer, care, accountability, and growth. To find out more about groups and how to get plugged in, email Pastor Tom at firstname.lastname@example.org.
MINISTRIES THAT MAKE US WHO WE ARE
NURSERY/PRE-K & CHILDREN
During our morning service, your children (infants through grade 5) will have a place that is designed just for them with teachers who want to share God's love with them. Our Nursery/Pre-K is right next to where we meet. We have a safe and comfortable environment with great people to care for your child/children while we gather. The grades 1-5 are checked-in towards the back of the Life Center where they will head upstairs for their classroom. It helps to come a few minutes early to check-in for your child to feel less rushed. For more information, contact email@example.com or call us at (360) 568-7271.
COLLEGE AGE/YOUNG ADULTS
Our Band of Sisters gather for fellowship and fun while sharing dinner together as well as a time of teaching, encouragement, and prayer the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 6:30-8:30pm. For more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our Band of Brothers meet regularly to encourage one another, read from the Bible and discuss how it all applies. Walking with God is not always easy, so meeting together once a month is very helpful to be encouraged and to encourage others. We meet the 4th Saturday of each month for breakfast from 8:30-10:00am. Contact Pastor Tom for more details at email@example.com.
We have over 2,000 square feet of free, well organized, neatly hung clothes for people of all ages and just about every size. It is open the 1st Friday of each month from 10:00am-12:00pm as well as the 3rd Saturday of each month from 10:00am-1:00pm.
PLEASE NOTE! Currently our Community Dinners are on hold as the new kitchen construction project is in process. We will update on the completion and return of our dinners. For more information, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD (OCC)
If you are not familiar with OCC, it is an opportunity to gather supplies of all kinds all-year round, that are boxed into shoe boxes and mailed all over the world to children in need for Christmas. There is a list of items that are important for each box, but the combinations are endless! Each box contains a message of our hope in Christ as well as things they will cherish for a long time. This ministry changes lives! For more information, contact Penny Kendrick via email@example.com.
UPPER ROOM QUILTS
Upper Room Quilts is a ministry of quilt making to bring comfort to people going through difficult times. It is a group of women who have a heart for anyone experiencing physical or emotional trauma. The quilts are prayed over every step of the way by every person involved in the fabric selection, sewing, and tying. For more information contact Judy Klett at firstname.lastname@example.org or (425) 334-5157.
